Rawalpindi Ring Road Project (Final Plan)
The Rawalpindi ring road project is finally announced by the government of Punjab after the approval. This project is a 65-kilometer long road and 10 new commercial and residential zones are also part of this latest project. The Project will have 6-lanes on each side and 8 interchanges.
The chairman of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Tariq Murtaza the project also has a signal-free corridor featuring a dry port, a well-equipped world-class hospital near Chak Beli interchange, an international expo center, amusement park between Chakri is also a part of this project. The plantation of 0.15 million (150,000) trees is also part of this project.
The ring road project will reduce the traffic issues of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. According to the authorities, the project will facilitate approximately 50,000+ vehicles on daily bases. This project will be a game-changer for Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The foundation of the ring road project will be laid by the Prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan & Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar in the month of December.
